I took this picture after lunch one day this week.  Henry's fighting off a cold, so I told him he could snuggle on the couch and watch a movie after lunch.  Stella climbed right up with him and got cozy!
Henry does a 'letter of the week' at preschool and they usually do an arts and crafts activity with it.  So cute!
It was really warm here this weekend (for January) so I took the kids for a walk outside at the National Arboretum.  They have an exhibit with bonzai trees and the kids liked the tiny bridge :)
Walking down a path at the National Arboretum
 Climbing on a fallen tree
Climbing on a fallen tree across a stream bed (just Sophie!) :)
This is my favorite picture of the day!
There is a huge Koi pond at the entrance of the arboretum and we really liked seeing the huge, cold fish.
I guess Stella thought we were being too loud!  She told us to shush! ;)

We were invited to a 'princess' themed b-day party, and Henry was given permission to go as a pirate!  The host hired a teenager to come dressed as a princess and she did face/hand painting - so this is Pirate Henry getting a skull and crossbones painted on his chubby little paw!
Look what a big girl Stella looks like sitting at the table with all of the other kids.   She did NOT want to wear a princess dress!  Sophie had the princess paint 'Judy Moody' on her face!  It's the name of the series of books that she is currently obsessed with.  She's read them all!
 Henry drinking from his goblet!
This is at Great Wolf Lodge.  They do an animated show every evening (sort of like Chuck-E-Cheese characters) - and Dave had Henry on his shoulders and Stella in his arms so that they could see.
After the show we took them to the little arcade and they had a great time!

Sophie earned enough tickets to buy a mood ring from the arcade and she LOVES it!
Stella loves to say 'Cheers!' and bump drinks!
The three kids watching a little Curious George while Dave checks his email.
 How cute?
This is what I was telling you about Ma!  Stella took all the tiny soaps and shampoos from the hotel and made a tiny stash behind the toilet.  Then she would sneak in and smear a handful into her hair when we weren't looking!  Look how happy she is!!
After a couple of hours at the pool, Henry got cozy on the chair next to me and started making this face.... it took about 5 minutes before he was out cold!
 Stella napped on me too!
Dave swaddled Henry in warm towels and he napped right at the pool.
Daddy and Stella at Red Robin for dinner.  See the wristband he has? The resort has your room key programmed on that, so you don't need to carry around your key when you are out and about - it's really nice.
Look at the concentration!  They had so much fun!
We made Christmas cookies and delivered them to some of the people we know in the neighborhood on the way to church on Christmas Eve.
This is Sissy patiently waiting!  Doesn't she look so small and cute?
These are a few pictures from when we took the kids ice skating at Quiet Waters park in Annapolis.

Sophie wanted to cut her hair and donate it to 'locks of love', so this is us at the salon.
I didn't get a great picture of her with her haircut finished, so this is one of her at the Daisy meeting the next day.  We made little snowmen out of tiny yogurt drinks for the girls to have for their snack.  They loved them!
