All of the kids loved this little car. Sophie really liked to push it while Emi was riding in it. You can really tell how tall Sophie is for her age when she is standing next to the other children. The two girls in the middle are 3mos. older than her!

Today at playgroup the host had a bubble machine and Sophie was making everybody laugh by trying to eat the bubbles!

Apparently Sophie is just like mommy and likes her peeps a little stale! She ate one for an after-breakfast snack this morning!

Sophie loves to eat when she has something to watch, so we have been taking her portable booster seat outside for picnics! She is sort of obsessed with school busses and motorcycles right now!

Right in the middle of all of the festivities Sophie just plopped down on the carpet and put her head down like she was going to go to sleep!

One of Sophie's favorite parts about going to playgroups is that she can try out toys! She really enjoyed this jolly jumper at Brenda & Anastasia's house!

We "walked" all the way to the top of the little playground castle and she found a good spot to spy on the other kids!

I took Sophie to the playground today and I brought her little toy that she uses to walk. She was able to walk herself through the entire playground!

"OOOhh! These look Deeeelicious! I really shouldn't, but, oh, maybe just one!!"

I took Sophie to the park and she kept trying to eat the spots of sun that were on the ground! What a nut!

After Sophie ate her lunch we gave her a special Easter treat...the crust off of leftover pizza. We also had her try a "peep" but she wasn't too impressed.

David started to take down the paneling in the front room and Sophie loved being his little helper.

Sophie and Arria loved to look out the window! Sophie likes to kiss the glass and Arria likes to chew on the wood window sill!

One of the best things about going to 'playgroups' is that Sophie gets to test drive all of toys that the other children have. This one was a big hit with all of the kids!

Sophie and I went to the Animal Park today with a couple of our other mommy friends. This is Pat and her beautiful daughter Samantha.












Don't you think Sophie would let me put sunglasses or a hat on her? She looks like she hates the sun!!

Sophie says goodbye to Joshua after playgroup. She knows she will see him tomorrow at the zoo if it doesn't rain!

I was trying to look at the pictures that Dave's Grandmother sent but Sophie noticed I was not in the room with her and bolted over! She loves kissing the pictures and leaving slobbery rings!

Sophie loves the camera and crawls very fast over to you when you are trying to take her picture. This is her crawling up Dave's legs!

This Sunday Dave and I took Sophie to a place called "My Gym" during their 'open house'. It is a little storefront that has been converted into an excercise gym for babies and young children.

















Sophie does a quick set of chin ups while Dave acts as her spotter.

















It took a few minutes, but Sophie chose the green ball as her favorite.

I went to the party store and bought a bunch of noise makers for Sophie to play with. She was really frightened by this green one until Dave played with it with her. Now it is her favorite!

Today was a beautiful sunny day and Sophie and I sat outside on the front lawn playing with toys and watching the cars go by.

Dave and I always call Sophie a little monkey and now you can see why! We were at the library for our Wednesday playgroup and Sophie munched on lunch!

Today after "baby lapsit" at the library a bunch of us took a walk with the kids. We walked about a mile to a nearby park. Sophie and Sarah wait for us to unbuckle them!

This was taken on Sunday when Dave repainted our living room. A second earlier Dave was playing with Sophie and painted her name on the wall, but as soon as he turned around she quickly headed for the pan of paint!

We took a walk one evening around the Union College campus and watched the sunset while sitting on the steps of the nott memorial. Dave was making googily eyes at Sophie.
