Sophie and Daddy getting some speical time together when we all got home from the hospital. She was reluctant to try on her little swimmies - so Dave put them on!
Our first outing with Henry was to a little park with a playground, carousel, and mini train. This is Sophie handing her ticket!
Out of order, I know - but I love this photo! This is from the night before I went in for my C-section. I am two days past my due date.
One last belly hug and one last guess on whether or not we'll be having a little sister or a little brother for Sophie.
A little cuddle time in the hospital!
I knew these were going to get out-of-order since I am adding them so late - but look at how cute and tiny Henry is in this photo! Can you believe how quickly he has grown?
He really recognized Dave's voice and would try to find him with his eyes!
Dave was getting ready for the baby by testing out all of the baby equiptment with Sophie. I think she exceeds the weight limit by a few pounds!!
We went and saw a photographer when Henry was about 3 months old. These are some of my favorite pics from the day.
How cute is this??
Sophie was really such a little terror this morning! I was so glad to see that some of the photos came out nicely!
It's been a long time since I've added posts - so some of these may be a little bit out of order, but this is Henry when he was still pretty 'new' getting some love from Sofity!
Tiny baby Henry!
Proud new sister!
Henry gets his first kiss from mama!!!
What a cute little guy!!

Dave watched Sophie on Saturday morning and while they were at the playground he was talking with her about what she wanted to eat for lunch. Apparently she decided that she wanted "Green Eggs and Ham!!" As it turns out, though, Sophie 'Does not like Green Eggs and Ham and will not eat them here or there she will not eat them...'

Bathtime with Jolene!!
Eating Lunch!

Thanks for taking me to the 'big movie' mom!!
It was really beautiful this week so I took Sophie to walk around the 'Rust Sanctuary' right here in Leesburg.
Walking on the path down to the pond we found a little bridge that Sophie happily danced on for 20 minutes!
Dance, Dance, Dance!
I would post what we were doing in this picture, but Dave is being a jerk and won't let me have two minutes.

I took Sophie swimming at the neighborhood pool this week. She loves it!
She has fun pouring the water into all of her little toys.
She makes delicious tea too.

Today we had a playdate at home with two of Sophie's little friends. We did a couple of Easter crafts and then celebrated early because one of the little ones is turning 2 next week!
Happy Birthday!!
The ladies enjoying pizza lunch
Singing Happy Birthday!!
And best of all.... cake and ice cream!!

Every Thursday morning I take Sophie to a little dance class. It is held at a retirement home so the folks that live there come and watch the kids dance. Sophie loves when we get to the part where she swings her arms!
All of the kids kind of do their own thing - but they all have fun.

I took Sophie to a music program at the library this week. The woman who runs it is really great and lets them just play around with the instruments while she sings and plays her guitar. Sophie had a great time dancing around and using this drum.
We had Spaghetti for dinner and Sophie did a great job feeding herself!! She also liked drinking water out of a big girl cup that we got that has the characters from the 'Cars' movie that she loves.
Sophie gives 'Mater' a kiss!
We thought she did a great job feeding herself until we realized that half of it was in her lap!!
She decided that it was still good and ate the pasta right from her pants!!

This is Sophie at a friend's birthday party standing on the little blue line and listening to instructions! She looks so tiny compared to 4 year olds!!
This was the first party that Sophie seemed to understand what a 'birthday party' means. She sat at the little table with all of the other kids - and even got her own slice of cake!!
Dave and I just sat there watching her eat the cake - she was so adorable.
After the party we came home and she wanted to 'snuggle down' and rest for a few minutes. Dave asked her to "show me the worm" and she stuck out her tongue for him.
After Sophie's bath we read to her every night. This is daddy reading a book I got from a garage sale this weekend that neither one of us really likes! From the look of it, Sophie's not too into it either!
